Hope For The Future

497287015
Recent events in the United States and around the World have had significant impact on many of us. As Christians, our hearts go out to those affected. Our compassion and caring can sometimes overwhelm us… allowing us to feel Hopeless. But, if we keep our eyes on Jesus and trust in His Word…..we can have a peace and an understanding that there is Hope for the future….
From the Scriptures:

Romans 8:18 King James Version (KJV)
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Psalm 39:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee.

Titus 2:13 King James Version (KJV)
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

Romans 15:4King James Version (KJV)
4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

Romans 15:13 King James Version (KJV)
13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

God Bless You.

Jesus Is The Answer

jesus-christ-face-rembrandt

Today, if you have a need…..Don’t live in despair a moment longer.

Take your needs to the Lord….in prayer.

If you need healing…Call on Jesus….He heals the sick & lame. He made the blind, see.

If you feel alone…Talk to Jesus….He is with you always, wherever you are & knows your needs.

If you need salvation….Ask Jesus…Forgiveness is freely given & salvation is a gift of God.

The Spirit of the Lord Jesus lives within us…..to comfort, stengthen, empower and enable us.

There is no need that the Lord cannot provide for. No prayer that He cannot answer.

Whatever your need…..Jesus is the Answer…..Call on Him, today.

God Bless You.

A Prayer of Salvation

“Dear Lord Jesus,

I know I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe you died for my sins and rose from the dead. I trust and follow you as my Lord and Savior. Guide my life and help me to do your will.

In your name, Amen.”

If you prayed this prayer, the Bible says …

“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. “ —Romans 10:13

A Gospel For All Nations

Proclaim the Gospel…..The Good News of Jesus!

Greater Darkness is moving on the face of the Earth.

Waller’s Meeting House believes in the Gospel of Jesus and its power to change men, nations and the world.

In a time when nations are angry and the heathen rage on….we belive Jesus will change the heathen heart and they will receive their inheritance and the uttermost parts of the Earth for his possession.

Psalm 2 (KJV)

2 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,

3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

7 I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.

10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

We work, pray and go forth proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus… until, “all the ends of the world shall turn to the Lord.”

Praise Jesus!

The Event Of The Ages

Birth of Jesus Original Painting

Original Painting by Dick Couperthwaite

The Birth of Jesus

In the New Testament, only the Books of Matthew and Luke tell of the birth and early childhood of Jesus. Luke is thought to have received his story of Jesus’ birth directly from Mary. Matthew from Joseph. Both stating that Jesus was born of a virgin, in Bethlehem…..of the line of David – The Divine King of the Ages.

Luke 2  King James Version (KJV)

2 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed.

2 (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)

3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.

4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)

5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.

6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.

16 And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.

17 And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.

18 And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.

19 But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.

20 And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.

21 And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called Jesus, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.

22 And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord;

Jesus, the Savior of the World……A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.

Merry Christmas.

God Bless You.
